Saturday, July 06 – ARRIVE LIMA -/-/- Arrive in Lima with assistance and transfer to your
hotel. Overnight at TIERRA VIVA MIRAFLORES LARCO HOTEL (2 NIGHTS-STANDARD

Sunday, July 07 – LIMA B/-/- Breakfast at the Hotel

The city of Kings is a beautiful town by the Peruvian coast.
The capital of Perú offers you the perfect combination of
modern and colonial sites.
The modern Lima with Miraflores from where you can
have views of the Pacific Ocean and Barranco, a bohemian
neighborhood entire of local art galleries.
Visit the Main Square, the Cathedral of Lima, and the San
Francisco Convent has an impressive library.

Afterward, head to Pueblo Libre City for Lunch at Café
del Museo Restaurant. Have a guided tour of Larco. The museum, one of South America’s best Museums, has an exquisite Pre and Inca culture collection.

Monday, July 8 – LIMA / CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY B/L/ Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Cusco.
Arrive in Cusco, assist on arrival, and transfer to
Sacred Valley for your first visit.
Continue to your second stop, which will be the Archaeological
site of Pisaq, an impressive construction at the top of the
Mountain with a fantastic view of the valley.

Next, we will go to the Pisaq, visit the artisan market, and
continue to the Valley of Urubamba.
* Lunch included at TUNUPA Restaurant.

Later, you will visit the town of Ollantaytambo and
the Archaeological Complex. Manco Inca used this
complex as a fortress during the Spanish
conquest.

Tuesday, July 09 – SACRED VALLEY B/-/- Breakfast at the hotel

After Lunch, we will continue our journey to Moray and
Maras, the famous and ancient salt mines of the colonial
era. The contrast of its white wells with the green valley is
impressive and not to be missed for a postcard spectacular
of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

First stop Moray’s impressive circular “andenería” that
shows how they have developed their agriculture.

Wednesday, July 10 – SACRED VALLEY /MACHU PICCHU /CUSCO B/L/- Breakfast at
the hotel

Transfer to the train station to board the Expedition train to
Machu Picchu. Your guide will assist you in boarding the
bus to the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a
spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon.
The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us
with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and urban
areas. Energy is all around us. Afterward, retake the bus to go back to the town.

Once you are back in Aguas Calientes, get ready to board
the Expedition train back to Ollantaytambo station and
then transfer to Cusco.
Arrive in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Thursday, July 11 – CUSCO B/-/- Breakfast at the hotel.

Without a doubt, this city needs a morning to enjoy to
walk to its gorgeous stone streets, listening to the Andean
music and falling in love with a glorious past, the Inca
past that could create this civilization that we
are lucky enough to experience our senses.
You will visit the Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun, the
Cusco’s Cathedral and the nearby archeological sites like
Sacsayhuaman.

Friday, July 12 – CUSCO / LIMA B/-/- Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Lima.

If canceled after May 17, 2024, the penalty is 20%

EXEMPTION OF TAX ON SALES (VAT)
Hotel rates for foreign travelers and nonresidents in Peru are exempted from the 18% VAT. The
tax exemption applies only if travelers show their original ID (identification document)
together with the customs form stamped by Peruvian authorities at the moment of
registration at the hotel desk.
A foreign traveler with a stay in the country of more than 60 days is not eligible for tax
exemption.
TAX ON SALES (VAT) IN CASE OF ‘NO SHOW’If a traveler does not use the reserved service(s) at the hotel (‘no show’), the
amount invoiced by the hotel is subject to the additional payment of 18% tax on sales
according to the Peruvian tax regulation. That means the tax exemption for foreign travelers
is no longer valid in case of a ‘no show.’TRAIN POLICIES:
PeruRail has introduced new baggage allowance restrictions for passengers taking the train to Machu
Picchu. Only one piece of hand baggage up to a maximum of 5 kg (11 pounds) and a total linear
dimension of 157 cm (62 inches) per passenger is accepted. This measure has been introduced as
emergency exits on trains were usually blocked with passengers’ luggage.

CLIMATE:
Cusco’s climate is divided into two differentiated seasons: the rainy season, from November
to April (the heaviest rainfall usually occurs between January – and February), and the dry
season, from May to October. The dry season is colder, so temperatures can drop to below 0
Celsius degrees at night (32 F)
